About Our Salt Water Fishing Charters
Fast Break Charter Service specializes in saltwater, light tackle and fly fishing in the Chesapeake Bay and its tidal rivers . Our saltwater fishing charters are specialized to target striped bass, but can accommodate anglers who wish to fish for other species as well, such as blues, trout, flounder and other bottom fish.
About Your Guide
Captain Tom Cross is a native Marylander and resides in Grasonville, Maryland. He has over 35 years of experience fishing on the Bay and it's tributaries, going back to the 1960's where he began fishing the Bay with his father on their 38 ft. baybuilt.
Today, he is a United States Coast Guard licensed Captain and holds a Maryland Fishing Guides License. He is a charter member of the Chesapeake Guides Association. Tom has been operating Fast Break Charter Service since 1999.
Tom's experience spans across many years of fishing both inshore and off shore waters and he takes pleasure in sharing his knowledge as well as the sights and sounds of this remarkable treasure they call the Chesapeake Bay.
